Police scanners

Is there anywhere on the net you can pick up whats going on in your city through some kind of scanner?

I remember way back, we use to sit and play cards with my Grandma and listen to what was going on with the old multy station scanner radio. Anyone remember those?

you can still buy scanners that will do it

you need the more expensive ones that will trunk, follow the repeaters and the different freqs they use
