moxie Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Get you out of a jam and a half and in a package the size of a womans wallet. Ain't technology sweet?
irishfield Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) Batteries have come a long way Will.. I just threw away the lead acid in my airplane today, that would never crank her first hit of the key. Always stopped at TDC and then I'd hit it again and it would start. Put an Odyssey PC925 in it today, that I checked pre-install and was only at 80% charge.. and I could taxi the thing just on the windmill effect from cranking with the ignition turned off. Thinking I'll be trying them next on my trolling motor in the Lund! Edited February 5, 2014 by irishfield
joeybacala Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Matco, Snap on, MAC tool jobbers sell similar units for about $200 dollars. If I'm not mistaken it come with a case and a variety of connections to do a lot more than boosting a battery. I have seen these units start a diesel van in winter. My cousin keeps one on his boat just in case. Great idea.
