frodobuggins
On our way back from a family vacation in Newfoundland we stopped by the Codroy valley and were lucky enough to see a pair. There is a sandpiper foreground. Can you see the 2 pipers?

dave524
Only 2 are Piping Plovers , the near one is something else. I got an old 35mm. slide of a mom and 2 chicks that I took back in the early 70's when I was park naturalist at Long Point Prov. Park. I don't think they were officially endangered then , but still pretty rare.
