nancur373 Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 This is my hut. It is less than the 75.4 square feet required for a tent style hut not to be registered. But does it fall into the tent category with the two plywood ends. Maybe I'll just register it anyway. I plan to fold it down when not in use and have a few poles or such standing around it with reflective tape.
mike rousseau Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Registration is easy... Just register it
davey buoy Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) If it stays overnight,I believe so.Being under the alloted sq ft,as a portable your fine.Registering is free, and the numbers they give you have to be displayed on the hut in clear view. misfish Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I plan to fold it down when not in use and have a few poles or such standing around it with reflective tape. Even if you put poles up,I feel you are causing a danger to a sleder. All it takes out there is to have a good snow and wind, that hut will be covered. They wont see those poles when traveling at night. Just saying.
Freshtrax Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I have to agree. Would be impossible to spot at night folded down in a snowstorm.
