gallant
Hi everyone , im planning a trip into Algonquin park this spring. we are going inot to Lake Lavieille . i was wondering if anyone has been to this lake as i have not been there yet . just was wondering if Crow bay was good in the spring or if i should go to the outlet of Crow river on the east side. Musky or Specks
Mouths of rivers are always good in spring as they bring food and (earlier in the spring) warmer water into the cold lake.
Pickeral eater
Always hit the west side but if you read the reports from the park, the lake is very productive. Good luck
kickingfrog
Spring when? Sometimes iceout does not happen until after trout opener. Not likely to happen this year but who knows what the next month will bring for The Park weather wise.
