Tip downs/ups ... lets see your homemade ones

Hey everyone

 

The wife and I are trying to save some money. So I am looking for a little project at home that I can do with some scrap peices of woods around the house.

 

Im asking those of you who have built your own tip downs/ups ( different names depending where your located I have found lol ) to show your builds !

 

I have a few guys asking to come out on the ice ... they want to bring there kids and I figure this would be the most effective way to keep the kids busy... chasin down tip ups all day !

All i need for most of my fishing. Flagged tip ups are annoying when you're on a hot bite. I use an insulated polar for when I'm fishing big dead baits for pike and lakers, and that's about it.

I've been building my own out of pine for quite some time now and possibilities are endless in creating your own style of tipups / tip down which ever you want to call them

 

1" x 2"s are inexpensive, light, easy to work with and durable
