Anyone fished the Grand lately?

Looking for a place to go fishing on Tue, havent been to the Grand river in 2 months (and no luck last couple of times I was there). I'd be fishing around Caledonia most likely. Anyone been there lately? Worth going or should I go elsewhere?

I drive across hwy 8 and the 401 at Kitchener. Ice is gone water looks higher than normal

Before the thaw brought it into turbulent chocolate milk... I fished around the ice booms as best I could through the brantford stretch.. notta. I have definitely had good winter days there though. I'd wait til it settles.

I went to the Harbour instead, verry murky water no visability. Fished by the Desjardines canal and Pier 4 and no luck. Met a guy there he said he tried LaSale earlier today and got skuncked.

Gotta wait until it clears, no point in fishing it when it's blow out and muddy.

Depending on your species of choice you may want to check the reg's.

Well you mentioned Caledonia in your original post. Based on your species of choice, once again you may want to check the reg's.
