ccmtcanada Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Well, with the steel in very low numbers in my area, I decided that I still wanted to catch something...anything...as long as it swam!! Bly and I headed out to do some sucker fishing, since the creeks are filled with them. A few drifts after we got there, I landed this one..... Then I had a nice surprise and landed this AWESOME STEEL!!! LOL Finally, to end the night, I hooked into this one.... It's kind of surprising how much of a fight these suckers put up....they do a pretty good job trying to get away....oh well...until the trout opener, I figure this is what I'll be catching!! Now...I'm tired...gotta get some sleep....
Joey Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Well, at least you had something fighting at the end of your line Cliff. And it was a great day to be out there. Joey
Douger Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 you guys are dedicated anglers! take care -d-
dsn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 I'd make the best of it, and go with an ultra light rod and reel. Make the best of what you dislike and enjoy it, soon you get to enjoy it too much and thats when things change. Ever notice that? its weird.
canadian_copper Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 SHOULD BE A TON OF THOSE LITTLE FELLAS AROUND NOW HEADIN BACK TO THE LAKE!!!! HOPE YA DIDNT WASTE GOOD ROE ON A SUCKER THOUGH LOL
