finally doing a fishing report

decided to give the sled (and my back) a break from trail riding this weekend, loaded the gmc up and went a fishin, finally found some live weeds, set up on a 5-9 ft drop with lots a green weeds around noon today punched about 12 holes and set 2 windlass tip ups and two jigging rods, moved around a bit but managed around 50 perch today 35 keepers not bad for 3 hours of fishing, ice was at least 20 inches thick

fish started biting at 12-18 inches off bottom and after a walleye or two made a guest apperance the fish were staying locked to the bottom

Good stuff, that's a lot of ice too! I was on around 5 inches on Simcoe the other day.
