hello can anyone tell me the status of lake st joseph up near orillia? A friend of mine wishes to take me there. Also what about the seaforth area lakes?

If you mean Lake St. John near Rama in Orillia, there is plenty of ice (over 13" as of last weekend).

 

But, it has been extremely busy with "fisherman" keeping everything that bites from such a small lake.

 

Expect neighbors.

yes you are correct it is st john, and thank you for the reply. Now how about any other lakes in that area?????

Couch is about 100ft away.

Watch out for the pressure ridge - quite visible from the north shore - seems to run from the big island to the west shore near the quarry.
