crossover Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 I caught several of these in one section of the Bonnechere River (I've been meaning to post a report, some of the best bass fishing I've encountered). Just note that it was silver, the camera flash gave it a golden colour.
crossover Posted October 21, 2011 Author Report Posted October 21, 2011 Fallfish I think you go it. They put up a good fight for their size, I'll take a few next time and see how the pike like them.
fishnsled Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 I'd say Fallfish as well. Scroll down to see the image. image
Dabluz Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Yep....fallfish it is. Here in Quebec, they are called "ouitouche". Pike love to eat them. They are also great as cut bait too. The flesh has a pretty strong odour. They are a very rapid fish and often jump out of the water when caught on a small hook and very light line. I have caught them up to 14 inches long.
