jedimaster
Well the moon is supposed to look big this weekend. bigger than it has in 20 years, and the biggest until 2029. Get outside tonight and look east after sunset. Its on its closest orbit today.

ehg
I am a real believer in full moon phases. I will fish whatever days but noticed many years ago that best days and PB's were caught on couple of days around full moon. Figures that this 'super moon' occurs when fishing is least possible for most. A few things are still open, so good luck to steelheaders near Great Lakes, panfishers on ice or whoever has someplace and something to fish for. The bite is usually good during daylight but sucks at night during full moon. Good Luck
mercman
That explains the excessive sporadic hair growth i am experiencing lately, and my cravings for mutton
EC1
I'll be staring at it on the lake all night tonight! I'll hopefully get some shots for you guys! Hopefully it'll turn on the fish too. Edited March 18, 2011 by EC1
camillj
First full moon used to mean a lonnnnnnng run up to de-swiss-shaw (not sure how you really spell it) ... anyhow it was like the right of passage for monster pickerel.
