Steelcat Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 My brother and I are planning to have some early spring pike fishing tomorrow. However, we still haven't decided if we should go to Toronto Island or just hug along the lakeshore. Any suggestion? One thing for sure, we'll be fishing tomorrow for sure
setomonkey Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Somebody mentioned in another thread that the Islands were still frozen, but that's third-hand at best, and it's been warm the last few days. Ask snog, he's been catching some nice pike from Lake O. Maybe he'll tell you. Mike
Headhunter Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 From my office tower high above the downtown, but with a somewhat restricted view, I'd have to suggest the water front as your only viable option, There is significant melt since yesterday, but I can see that the channels are still iced over. Perhaps a coupla more days of warm weather or some rain will open them up for good. HH
Steelcat Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 Thanks for the suggestions I guess I'll hug along the water front then
mepps Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I'd be heading to the islands if i didnt live 2 hours away.
