2011 Barrie perch derby

In a thread about perchen Barrie,I had mentioned that a derby like the one in Orilla could happen here in the fall and be successful.Well it seems to have come about.The barrie Rotory Club along with RackNReel are putting the fall event on.

Starting Sept 23 running til Oct 2 2011.

 

It,s in the examiner,but I cant find a link online.

 

 

Wonder if I can get royalties for this???????

The big problem I see is that with 3 big spring venues, they will only wind up dividing the pool of anglers that participate until one or more venues is forced to fold. Happened with the Salmon venues already. All at once there will be Orillia, Barrie, and Rice.

The difference being that the Barrie derby is in the fall...
