Eazy Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Who was here first?.....One seems to have copied the other as the two names are almost the same? Maybe?, I dunno.
fishinguypat Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 I'm gonna go on a limb here and say the Crocodile came first
denisk Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 I'm gonna go on a limb here and say the Crocodile came first what about the alligator? that's a spoon
dave524 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 what about the alligator? that's a spoon If you can find any of the original Delfin " Alligators " the true silver plated ones with the red stripe on one side, beg, borrow or even steal them, they are that good. This doesn't incude the knockoffs or other spoons manufactured under the same name.
Roy Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Gibbs was out much before the Jensen. Both companies have distinguished pasts but I prefer the Rufus Gibbs story. Rufus was a dude from Peterborough who moved to Vancouver...interesting as to how the company eventually changed hands but always stayed in the family. OH well...almost as good as reading the bible on a Sunday morning.
Eazy Posted September 19, 2010 Author Report Posted September 19, 2010 Thanks for the input! I've noticed tho that the Krocodile offers some of their spoons in different weights, but have the same physical size, eg; two spoons are 2.5", but one is 3/8oz and the other is 5/8oz, which makes them very versatile.....as well as landed me my personal best Speckie!
