which place in Kinmount has the record SMB mount?

I thought it was the Kinvale restaurant, but nope, maybe it isn't there anymore,

I remember hearing that the CAN record small mouth bass from Bark (or Birch Bark) Lake was mounted and displayed somewhere in Kinmount

It used to be up in the convenience store right next to the bridge. Hasn't been there for many years. It was a beauty.

It was caught in Bark Lake and, yup, was hanging in the Kinmount General Store for many, many years. I hope it's still there ..... impressive looking fish .... but it was a really old old skin mount so who knows, it could have turned to dust by now.

The video/variety store closed so I'm not sure who would have the original. The city of Kawartha lakes has a replica even though it wasn't caught there. I would ask at the food town across the road or even the gas station....someone must know.The lake is surrounded by private property but there were never many fish in it to begin with....I believe the fish was 9 lbs 13 oz..
