I know of a backwoods lake less then than an hour from where we are thats stocked with splake. Fished it in the winter and done well. Its a nice lake. may want to get away for a few hours...Think any will be biting with this heat? Any tactics that are recomended?

Good luck...you can cath'em year round!

Sinker Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I'd flat line a worm harness about 100ft back. Silver hammered colorado blades, red beads. Always gets them. One 1/8oz egg weight about 18" from the spinner and just let 'er troll.Gotta go real early, or stay till dark. S.
