Fidel and I decided to focus more on camping out in search of a good time and to not put too much

pressure on connecting with Steel. Yes, it was a possibility to get into a few but this destination

can be difficult for drop backs but did provide other critters.

As expected, we didn't hook into any Steel. The count in the end though was a mixed bag.

5 Channel Cats

3 OOS Walleye

2 OOS Smallies

1 Rock Bass

1 Mooneye

The rain held off just enough to still be able to chill around the fire with a few drinks, good food and some sweet tunes!

That looks awesome! I just need to get my buddy who loves hiking into fishing...And I'll be making trips like this all the time! :clapping:

Sweet report, looked like a great trip...and considering some of my fishing days I'd say you did well!

Sounds like a pretty comfy time to me....minus the JD though. I'll bring a box of Ol' Milwackie. :thumbsup_anim:

Despite the lack of fish it still looks like fun.

How were your heads in the morning?

Started off pretty rough but a coffee, bacon, toast, 2 pain killers and 10 bottles of water took care of that.
