Went out ice fishing yesterday for the first time in just about 25 years.

The weather was great with mild temps and it snowed the whole time.

Set up and drilled a couple holes with no luck.

No luck there so I moved and drilled acouple more holes.

Ended up catching seven small bluegill, all on a glow jig tipped with a spike.

Great report and pics Phil!!! How thick was the ice?... and how in the heck could the temps be mild if it was snowing??? :dunno::dunno::dunno:

Glad to see you got out and caught some fish! :clapping:

Glen it was about 25F with just a slight breeze, warmest it has been in two weeks :)

Couple of the holes I drilled were 10" to 12"
