Time to replace trolling motor batteries

Hey guys,

 

looking for any positive feedback from those that have seen some deals or bought 12V deep cycle motor batteries in the Oakville area. My 2 Interstate 27's are at the end of life (7 years old) and I want to get something quick (this week). Would prefer to get a maintenance free battery if possible. Looking for 27 size again and need 2 for 24V system.

 

 

Was at CTC this morning before week and they're standard deep cycle is $140. Good reviews but would like to see what else is out there/

 

Any info is appreciated. Anyone ever buy from a battery place just in behind Fishing world in Hamilton I think its on Kenora Ave

 

Still not convinced the $ on orbital batteries equals the better performance.

Get yourself some Energizers from Wal-Mart. I have two 27's for my 24 volt ans so far they are great. They're going for about $99. right now.

I have a store right across the road here and will check them out at lunch. I remember when I got these last ones I put on a whack of miles driving around trying to do some comparative shopping and usually each place only carries 1 model.
