So much more than that...he allowed musicians the freedom to be more creative with his inventions and, of course, his guitar is still the Rock and Roll standard.

I know of one entertainer that will very sadden by this. Randy Bauchman.

He worshiped Les.

The name is so household in the music world.......so repeated, im serious when i tell you i heard a kid (teenager) at Guitar Center one night say to his friend...... "Wait, what....Les Paul was a person. I thought it was just the name of the guitar like Ibanez or epiphone" lol.
