misfish Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 The mrs and I are looking at a pleasure craft.Something to tour around abit. Some input on the look for,s. Need the experts on inboards here.
Cudz Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 (edited) gimbal bearings and bellows are always the first things to go. I am no expert though. Sorry. I was talking about inboard/outboards. Inboards are more straight forward (car engine as well but with a direct drive shaft). Can't really help there. SOrry. Edited July 5, 2009 by Cudz
Twocoda Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 look at the frost plugs on the block...any signs of rust or tampering to ensure the engine has always been winterized properly...imperative you take prospective boats for a water test and run it through the hoops ...
Terry Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I have never seen a ranger with an inboard you can't flip from a cabin cruiser and where to put the bow mount
POLLIWOGG Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Friend left his 07 Four Winns Horizon 18 on my lawn, its got about 20 hrs on a 130 volvo so you don't need top look out for anything on this one. He wants $16,000 for it.
