ricoboxing Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 did a bit of trout fishing this past weekend, and caught a few small trout on some pink trout worms. then i realized that i had none left after i snagged my last hook on a tree. went to the nearest store, and they didnt have any pink worms (which were working great). so i bought berkley trout dough. went back to my spot, and only managed to hook up with one more trout. has anyone ever used this trout dough before? whats the best way to use it? i was fishing a small stream, so i just had it drifting on the bottom with some small split shot.
rbaquial Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) a great video on the different styles of RIGS for this type of TROUT BAIT. Click to watch the video. EDIT: The only problem I have with this video, are the size of TROUT BAIT he puts on the hook - looks almost enough to catch a largie! Edited May 19, 2009 by Addikted2Fishin'
Leecher Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 It worked for me but mind you, I was fishing on hard water and the lake was stocked with speckles. When the paste stopped producing I would switch to Berkley power eggs chartreuse. Leechman
Roy Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 They won't like me for this (or maybe they don't care) but I will never buy another Berkley product again.
mepps Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 That stuff is used BIG time here in Nova Scotia. Why wont you use any Berkley products Roy??
