CX-9 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Just check the weathernetwork and saying that from this Tuesday to Thursday we will hit some light rain and temp. will be from 7 to 10 celius. Was planning to go ice fish on Simcoe this coming Friday, just wondering would it be safe to venture out on the ice??? Would this warm weather melt a large portion of the 12 to 13 inches of ice on the lake??? Thanks.
Sinker Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Won't even touch the ice. The snow will all melt though, then when it freezes, we'll have TONS of hard, smooth ice. Bring your rubbers!! Its gonna be wet!!! Sinker

lunkerbasshunter Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 just remember there is no such thing as safe ice. that being said it will be wet and should freeze up nicely next week. cheers!
Ramble Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) The thermo-dynamics of the situation say no problem.Current areas might loose a little ice, but should be good. I'm kinda looking forward to it knocking te snow down. -Dave Edited February 10, 2009 by Ramble On
ciceri Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 get out there before we get the snow back
