Fisherman Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) Just looked on TWN, it's not over yet, much more coming by the end of the week. Went snowmobiling at work today, it's to the point that it's becoming a PITA, snow keeps flying over the windshield it's so deep. Definitely not good for making ice. irishfield Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Well tell it to hold off a day or so fisherman... gotta make a run to New Liskeard and back, tomorrow, for a funeral. We've got so much snow that I'm almost out of room to push it already. That doesn't usually happen until late into Feb.
BassAsin Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 yes profisher bassasin is right on the moneyi just spent 2 hours on a lake about 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile across 6-8 inches of ice and about 3-4 inches of water and slush on top due to the foot of snow we received last weekend not a single splake to show for my efforts either hope to get some walleye on another lake this evening rick dont ya just love fishin in the slush? it sure is great to auger through HAHAH too bad you got no splake for the effort, i heard the splake bit has been excellent on a few of my lakes or so my buddies say 1 or two is all they usually catch so who knows exactly what "the bite is on" means maybe 2 -3 fish? hahah
Mike the Pike Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 You get used to lots of snow when you live near Montreal don't know why I took so long to buy a snowblower can't imagine life with out it. Close to 3 feet of snow in my yard kind of early this year.
