john vail Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 recieved a copy of the precision guide for Xmas along with some line counters, great guide for lures, however I fish Eries western basin alot for wallys and sometimes troll bottom bouncers and harnesses and these are not covered in there guide, any help on this one

fishindevil Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 i have all the trolling guides as well and i bottom bounce for walleyes all the time,with all different sizes of weights,from 1/4oz to 5oz's,i use a line counter reel and always use power pro or fireline,and with the speed of the boat and the sesitivity of those lines i let line out and when it ticks the bottom like its supposed to do look at the line counter ,the depth of water you are in then the speed and you can right your own equasion down like i did i have it right down EXACTLY....its called making your own guide for trolling bouncers....
