Callander Bay

hey everyone,

i have an ice bungalow booked for Jan 4-7 with rob hyatt in callander bay.

i gotta say, i'm hating this weather

my question is, does callander bay typicaly freeze up well before the rest of the "big" lake (similar to cooks bay/lake simcoe?)

well where Rob is usually its OK....last year was the same and he made it out. JUST!

 

Sucks not knowing but Im sure it will freeze...Heres hoping anyway!

A couple of cold (-30 C) nights will fix everything.

in the same boat as you but with a different operator - fingers & toes crossed it gets cold FAST!

rob is in that narrow down spot at the mouth of the bay with he chain of island, he would be one of the first ones out,,but it ain't looking good
