Huge perch caught on Simcoe

I was fishing off the gov dock on Kempenfelt bay beside like 20 fishermen, we were all pulling up perch after perch when suddenly someone catches a huge perch that must have been close to 2 pounds, it was so huge its spine was deformed, i was going to take out my camera to take a pic but the guy actually threw it back, i dont think he realized that it was a huge fish for perch size cause he looked like a beginner.

Wow...the Ontario record is only 2.25 pounds....would suck if he released it before a pic was taken...that's quite the catch!!!

those big fish need to go back anyways ... keep em between 8-12 inches .... more or less, throw em back. That my rule at least.
