Hi all I would just like to ask if anyone here has caught round gobies in Simcoe, almost every time i go fishing in Kempenfelt Bay I catch round gobies, today I caught 4 gobies fishing for perch, does MNR know about this?

Yea i've noticed bass are harder to find, and the perch don't seem to be as plentiful.

Something I've noticed is that Simcoe smallies don't really have much color and stripes, maybe its due to Simcoe's colder and clearer waters.

Im getting desperate for some bass, haven't caught any this summer (all catch and release).

I used to go to U o G last semester but Im moving to the ridgetown campus next semester . In 2 years ill moving to the main campus though.

Oh and the weed growth was reallllly prolific there were weeds everywhere in the lake maybe that had something to do with it.

i threw everything I had in my tackle box, i even used live bait.

Maybe its because there was just so much fishing pressure on that small lake, there must have been around 25 boats.

I fished little lake today from 4 to 8 after hearing good news about it. The whole 4 hours I only caught 1 rock bass and everyone else I saw didn't catch a thing, something must have been messed up with the lake. Anyone have any experiences with little lake recently?

Hey guys I was on the water yesterday trying out my new Eagle Cuda 168 fishfinder but I noticed that we had no visible fish arcs appearing on the screen however the depth part and everything else was working normal. I was thinking maybe theres 2 possible reasons, a) could it be because we wired it to a 12 volt car battery? (does it ahve to be a marine battery?) or b ) We were too shallow, we were around 10 feet. Any Input would be appreciated. Oh and one more thing when I tuened on fish ID, it was working, but no fish arcs hmmm.
