I. am. happy. what a game. best junior game I've seen in years...(since Eberle scored in 2009 i think) the future is looking bright for Suomi.
-
oh, certainly don't apologize....bill and I both spoke highly of Komarov....he just speaks louder than I do :) although I think the upcoming world cup is a farce and a huge joke, it will be awesome to see Leo wearing the Lion again.
-
Well, you still have your head on straight (which is evident by the rational approach you have taken to this). Take some rest and let me know if I can help in any way. For every 10 people that trip and fall, only one or two aren't looking for fast payouts (which is the group you belong to). Be well Sir.

keep track of all the out of pocket expenses you have, staples will pay them without even using insurance... if the costs are less than 1K or 2K, they will just pay them. They will have video of your fall. Their risk management team will have already reviewed the footage (standard risk management protocol). you didn't sign anything at staples did you? (waiver, release, etc)

and to Gold the Finns go!

open bass in June, you may have to look in Quebec or NW Ontario.

Agreed. I have never owned a jersey since Gretzky on the Oilers with a name on the back. When Komarov did his first stint on the Leafs I bought a jersey and had his name put on the back.... then he left to go to the KHL. (teaches me to put a name on a jersey, lol). was very glad when he came back.

another thought. Staples is not a grocery store (where it is somewhat common to have wet floors). A store like Staples should never have water on the floor..... Increased negligence on the part of Staples if trip and fall was a result of water on the floor.
-
that is because of our junior hockey. many leagues (mostly driven by "moms" and "weak" dads) want to remove body checking completely. the "concussion" time of sports is alive and well.....Canada's physical play will reduce year after year until the idea of physical hockey in juniors is all but eliminated.

if you find you are out of any pocket expenses due to your fall at Staples, and want some assistance getting it back, let me know. You are a good man and I don't expect you to try and sue frivolously, however, you are due any medical expenses, or if you need to take any extra transportation, or if you have any extra med costs as a result. That is why these companies have insurance. PM me if you want any assistance with this (I work in commercial insurance and can provide some advice how to get compensation without a major "to do").

Chedoke for sure. The quad pads as well I believe. But Chedoke twin pads, the one surface is Olympic size.

and here we go ........... Lets Go Finns!

The NHL will not release "needed" players to play in a kids tournament. The NHL teams are billion dollar industries ... In fact, we'll see LESS players being released in years to come. Russia, Canada, USA, Finland, and Sweden all had quality players that were junior eligible held back by their NHL clubs.

Ya, that Komarov guy is pretty good
-
Hamilton has two that I'm aware of. (but these are junior hockey rinks) There are a few out there.

Thank you to whoever dropped some food off at our house.

Sam, so very sorry to hear about the health .... but you are a strong bugger .... Still remember talking Walleye in December in your old shop. Be well and remember, be positive. -
Not sure what section of the Grand you fish, but there are lots of pike downstream from York through to Cayuga.
-
Kinda lost some respect for Strome when he tried to sell the five minute penalty....you don't go directly to the dressing room to look injured while the refs are discussing whether to call 2 mins or 5 mins...then it was decided it was 2 mins....Strome was not just back on the bench, he was back on the ice for the next shift. That isn't Canadian hockey. But other than for that, the boys played their hearts out...Team Canada wasn't as strong as previous years.....and the boys still played their hearts out.
-
Puljujarvi, Aho, and Laine .... best line in the tournament.... BUT, it kinda ends there for the Finns....Canada has better depth.
-
and now begins the best game of the tournament so far. Puljujarvi, Laine, and Aho vs Canada. My boys in blue playing my boys in red. It's gonna be a good one!

LOL x 100000000 19.99 / gram 249.99 / half ounce 499.99 / ounce **PLUS** additional taxes. At least this is going to make it legal and those of us who partake won't have to worry about being arrested by having it on us (or in our residence). Truthfully, combining the fact that it's no longer illegal, and the above prices, will make "organized crime" (I say that loosely) even more rampant.

guilty. although became one later in the game. Saw Jerry when I was 13 here in Hamilton (1992). been a big fan ever since. I remember reading someone on this very board complaining because his wife wanted to see the Grateful Dead reunion in Chi town this summer but he wanted to go sheephead fishing instead, lol. :)

buy the 12' and buy two.... you have to realize you need more length than the depth your fishing.... ie, an 8' talon isn't going to do well in the wind and waves in 7 or 8' of water.... my local shop advises folks to at minimum, wait and buy two (as one is truly silly in its application), and most say once they buy 8', they upgrade to the 12'.... as such, if you TRULY feel the need to buy an 8' model, buy it used, as many anglers buy the 8' models, then sell them within a couple years to upgrade to the 12' model.

The Wheel is turning and it can't slow down........ :)

Another amazing year of World Junior Hockey! Some surprises already...some great hockey! Matthews needs to step it up ... he isn't even in the top five right now in the tournament .... But I think he will step it up. Laine and Pulji are insane....wonder if one of them (likely Laine) will knock off Matthews from first overall.
