  1. man.. i gotta get out of cooks bay and get onto the main lake.. great job there!
  2. why not crack open one of them benches, take out the foam, use the space as rod/tackle/saftey equipment storage, then place wood over it as the hatch, and then bolt on the seat swivel...? y'all get where i'm getting at? maybe if i do that, i'll post some pics...but not for another 2 weeks..lol
  3. not too sure gerrit. sorry don't you just love modding your new boat?!?!? i just got this boat i got this year, and i added new lights, new trolling motor, a deck, and new seats to it. in about two weeks, when i get the time, i'll be hopefully adding some floors to it, and now i'm contemplating if i should attack the middle bench, by cutting a hole from the top of it, taking out the foam and then adding a hatch(which is sit-able/stand-able if need to be, maybe something similar to brian's), then putting in a big container in there, to either hold tackle boxes or as a temp livewell(too lazy to make a livewell in such a crappy boat, a temp tub with water will do, maybe with a battery air pump then?) i'd love to see pics of the progress you have made on your new boat there Gerrit. One day we should head out with our newly modded boats for a small tourney, with the team 3 gang
  4. no no.. it's flying!! just too fast, so it appears that its not flying.. and the part where you see it standing.. its not standing.. just the angle of the camera ... lol.. jk.. great pic.. never seen that before myself. very neat. thanks kevin
  5. lol. yeah. plans failed for today. and now i won't be heading out for another two weeks. sadly.
  6. sorry no clue sean. maybe its time for you to grab a canoe like cliff/carole until you feel like getting a larger boat.. grab a little gas or electric motor on it and you're golden.

  11. I'm considering of going to scugog this week. However i have never been but heard there is ALOT of weeds. I would targetting bass and muskie in my 14ft tinny. How does the weed situation look like right now over there? any chance of me hooking into some bass or my first muskie ever? i usually head over to pigeon lake/kawwarthas, boq or cooks. thanks
  12. i rarely wear sandals in the boat, 1) i dont want to have hooks in my feet 2) i don't feel like getting a tan/burn on my foot

  17. no kidding eh lew. i was over at BOQ, in a smaller channel, no more then 20 metres wide... a dang boat, bass boat comes zooming by, didn't even bother slowing down! and then they start flipping and pitching in the exact spot i was at... grr... man.. should've just whipped out a big ol top water with some 80 pp, see how they like it in their prop.
  18. seen it at lebarons.. very tempted to try it out.
  19. very nice.. how big was it? im guessing atleast 4lbs
  20. for LM, i'd stick with spinnerbait, they work all the time for me. second choice would be plastics, then hard baits. I don't know.. i usually don't get too many hits on them.
  21. some decent bass there.. wouldve been better if they were fatter, they need some grub.
