  2. wicked nice there gerrit, that'll give me some idea on how to make a floor in my boat.. i was really wondering how to do it, then i saw a few photos online but those guys used wood and just shaped it like the hull of the boat for the supports then stuck the plywood on top.. this aluminum is a way better idea.. geez, why couldn't i think of that... now when i finally get the time this weekend, i have to find all your posts to help me on my way! great stuff kevin

  5. you sure? i just had my minn kota PD fixed. it was stuck at constant top speed. i brought it out to aikman's sporting good repair out in Mississauga. they said it was a circuit board problem i think. if it wasnt under warranty, it would've cost me $150 to fix it.

  15. even for that those that don't have the storage or the vehicle to tow a boat, a canoe, like a sportspal, hooked up with a motor is wicked nice too for those smaller lakes and channels/streams. i know there are a couple of guys on the board that has this kind of set up.. maybe they can give some advice if you are serious about looking into it. dude, once you get in a boat, i don't think you want to go back to shore fishing! well, maybe for the toronto islands..stupid habour license lol cheers kevin
  16. so i guess 4 hr drive, wow.. not bad, 4 hour drive to a little piece of heaven! that's a real shame how people don't respect private property.. kevin

  18. opps.. kinda of topic.. got carried away by the other posters..lol sorry.
  19. i guess with cars, its cool to see them doing 200km/hr+ but atleast its on the racetrack, whereas boats, they tend be in public waters, so they are almost like them street racers that the police are trying to crack down on, IMO. nothing annoys me more then those guys zooming past me, sending wakes at me, and making me jealous in my 14ft tinny.. lol
  20. i couldn't make it out this past weekend, but i'll be sure out in 10 days! for the first time on scugog for some skis too. good luck!
  21. wow... really nice! that is what i would call heaven too.. but just wondering, how long of a drive did you have to do from oshawa before you got there? cheers kevin
