  1. so i finally got a bow mount instead of the transom mount on the front... before the transom mount directly connected to the battery but now the bow mount has a plug, so i already bought the receptacle for it, to add to the boat. now, for the receptacle(boat peice), it's only about 1 ft to the battery, do i need a fuse to add to it??? what gauge water would be good? 10 AWG?, since it's very short, only the 2 foot MAX, i assume i don't need to add a fuse? even if i do need one, what amps? and this would be for a 55lb minn kota powerdrive with copilot and universal sonar, if that matters... thanks!
  2. as long it doesn't show too much rain tomorrow, i should be there for a few hours, till around 1pm. going to catch the 8:45 ferry to wards island and then working over towards centre island. if anyone sees me, i'll be the lonely guy using a curado baitcaster.
  3. sorry to hear about that victor. if i were you, i'd just jump right after it right away before it woul deven hit the water..lol.. oh well.. now you have an excuse to get a new rod/reel! check ebay for a reel first, but rods aren't really worth looking at on ebay since it costs too much to ship.
  4. some nice fish you got there..! despite the weather!~
  5. the one for the Canadian sale is in Canadian dollars at Vaughn mills, unless you are talking about the rest of the site, which i think is only USD
  6. I see a pete maina musky rod on sale for $69.88, reg price at 119.99, i'll probably pick that up and some wise boat seats for $26, reg price at $40. here's the circular. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...1&langId=-1 cheers
  7. i got mine from boaterexam.com and you need one to operate that 12ft 4.5 hp boat of your's, however you don't need to register it.

  10. smart thing to always check.. i never really looked at the tires that much.. i just check the air in them everytime, i guess i'll spot it while i check the air though. however i do check the lights every single time, before and returning fromt he trip.

  15. Thanks Lew! you are always of great help! But how much would the hang over be..? not too much i hope.. should i get myself a quick release bracket? but i would be using the trolling motor almost everytime i'm sure.
  16. for the edge.. i am worried about the size of the deck space i have available for it to mount onto. you guys think it'll fit? i went to LB to take a look at it.. but i totally forgot about looking at the size of the mount.. i was very close to buying a maxxum bow mount but that mount was wayyy too large for my boat.
  17. im just trying to decide between the edge or powerdrive for bowmount.. how much of an area does the edge and powerdrive require on the bow to bolt onto? i like the edge because it is cable steer and less fancy stuff to deal with but no power meter?!?!?! but then i like the powerdrive because it has that extra 18' of cable so i can steer from the back, i like the variable speed, i dislike the foot pedal(anyone really like it out there?). how are the lift/deploy mechanisms on them? thanks for any help.
  18. maybe snapping turtles should be part of the tourney? lol currently we have a 25" carp.. since i don't know anything about carping.. i'm hoping someone can pick up the slack for team 3.. let's see if you can beat cliff's 37" carp.. YOU CAN DO IT!! go team 3 go!
