  1. I have read some of your other posts on here and elsewhere. So yes. Yes I do believe that you might think it is a good idea to burn a wasp nest that is attached to you house. I am being sincere, I can all but guarantee some idiot has burned their house down in a similar scenario. I even have doubts that those are pictures of your house. Your credibility sucks. And before you go on calling me an ASS. Some assumptions are good assumptions to go on. Assuming the content of your posts are false is a good one. You yourself stated that people will not know when you are lying and would have to keep on guessing if your posts were true. It is a fishing board....why don't you tell some fish stories about fish and keep the other stuff real? The other stuff is not funny or amusing.
  2. Real fishermen catch bass. Just kidding I feel jealous. Those are pretty fish you caught this year. Nice pics.
  3. Actually I wont guess. I will just assume you are full of it and not worth your word at all. I will probably call you on things quite a bit. As I have already said many of your posts are suspect. Nice going confessed liar. Make sure you put that fact in your sig so others don't have to waste time with advice you give posts you start. WBG PS....I don't believe you had a wasp nest up there. No reason for me or anyone else to believe it was anything more than you trying to get attention.
  4. yes. I missed that one liner at the bottom of page 2 where you said you were fact full of it. thanks for pointing it out, was there even a nest? Other of your posts seem to be made up....care to point out which ones?
  5. I think you are kidding us right? -you shot gasoline at your house? -you misfired a ball in the house and caused that damage to vent inside? <--I can't see a paintball doing that to plastic. -your plan was to light it on fire after it hit the ground? -a powerwasher was a far safer and less dramatic way to do this but you chose to use gasoline in paintballs?
  6. I hit a rock doing about 4mph and while I was paying attention. So have others. I see hazards marked in many places across Ontario and have not heard a report about someone being held liable for putting a jug in the water. So aside from a lodge owners say so (who might be accountable?) do you have anything to back up the legal advice given by a lodge owner? The guy was ignorant about rules on the water or decided to ignore you. Waving your hands in an emergency manner should make the guy stop or slowdown to get more info OR head towards you...not your fault. Navionics marks hazards on their maps so if you tell them they may put it in. So...can you tell us where this exact location is?
  7. I think you are too influenced by US lawsuits. I am no lawyer but.... Unless a person was deemed/proven negligent they would NOT be held accountable. An average boater is not accountable or responsible for marking shoals. All they would have to say is that they thought they got them all. Now if it was a person designated as responsible for marking the shoals and he was drunk on the job everyday....that would be a different thing all together. Remember those Walkerton clowns that killed more than 5 people? Among other bad things they faked the water tests. The most that happened to them was that they lost their jobs (province only was sued). SO. Marking the shoals is a good thing.
  8. The title of the thread could be "Awesome! Boat scam! Pile on!" I just emailed them asking for details from an account I have for these purposes. Kill them with volume. Make them work and turn the scamming business into an even lower paying job. If they got a 1000 responses to this ad they would give up on it. I do feel a bit sorry for the people running the scam, they must be desperate. But I feel very sorry for the people that get scammed so sticking it to the scammers is good choice.
  9. They have way too many items marked "special". What a load of $%#!!
  10. I think you came up with that thought after you hit your head on the wall.: 1) If they did not buy mine they would go to the store and buy them and put the same amount of them in the water. 2) By buying mine they don't use up the sources supply and the source would not need to make as many. Overall less plastics in the system. Hey if I could not find a buyer that used them on a regular basis I would be happy. found that In-Fisherman article someone mentioned: http://archives.in-fisherman.com/content/biodegradables-bass
  11. BPA is used in making plastics that are clear, tough, pliable. The radicals are better informed than you. I am glad it was banned from MOST drinking containers (I think it is still in pop cans). But if you want some a chemical that mimics estrogen (I don't know maybe you want a smaller unit and soft breasts) or you want you boys to grow up a little further on the feminine side....drink and eat all the foodstuffs lightly laced with BPA you can get your hands on. A little goes a long way from what I read.
  12. I check my fish for lead jigs etc in the belly. Have not found any yet but since the kids eat them too I am extra cautious. Berkley won't say what is in Gulp...just that it is biodegradable AND who said phalates are a big deal? You are right, they are. : ) and according to this article they make up 50-80% of the bait: http://www.recycledfish.org/blog/stewardship-tips/stewardship-tip-alternatives-to-soft-plastic-baits/ How many plastics are in a lake? Read the article. Personally, I bought some once and I feel bad about using them so I don't.....maybe I should sell them.
  13. Plastics are known to leech toxins that cause various reproduction issues. Especially soft plastics. BPA is one of thos toxins that recently got a lot of publicity. I know there is a lot of junk in the water already. So with all the Senkos, Trigger-x etc. that gets put into the system every year (essentially now garbage)....what is the down side for the fish and other creatures that live there?
  14. There are ways to get around the Union requirement for posting. I think they may actually be needing someone new or someone that has not had the spot before.
  15. Those qualifications requirements are straight forward for the many that natually fit the job (hunter+angler+people skills+some brains). Your average city dweller that has never hunted AND fished will easily get beat out from the many who have (unless their people skills are very very good). The only tricky thing in there that I can see is being familiar with the Acts. Picking up a document and reading it never hurt anyone. Do COs like their jobs? I am pretty sure most do.
  16. I remember Fearless Fred on the Edge (cfny) talking about this a few weeks ago. He is against it. It is election time. Did anyone create an online petition? (sometimes they are good) I and a lot of other people that are against it might be pre-occupied with other things but could sign an online petition.
  17. .....and after I got it I would be thankful that someone actually did something with it instead of throwing it out or kicking it into the water.
  18. Many threads on this forum are. I would consider myself fortunate that I was able to find the person holding onto my card instead of turning it into the MOE to return to me in time for weekend fishing so I would not have to buy another one. If I found the card I might call the R. Sheppards in the phone books before turning it in.
  19. or CTC discontinued them. Somewhere else will have them.
  20. I am always surprised when the site takes a long winded way of accomplishing something (OK...less and less surprised). The phone call thing is the best it is going to get for a personal touch.
  21. or you could give it to MNR if they are willing to send it to the owner. the odds of finding the owner here are almost nothing.
  22. my prediction....line not getting as wet as others = slippier coating (so not the marker) so the double loop palomar will become a requirement. What is that jig head you have on there?
  23. The local paper might be able to take this and make something that raises awareness of pollutants around the home. For example I did not know oil based paint was banned. A little shame on those willful polluters and fine may follow.
  24. I did not read the rules but I thought that prefishing was normally against a tournament rules?
  25. Your right! thanks. Any idea what is a better finish????? I was thinking metallic...the natural looked like a super faded version of metallic.
