LOL I'm still a hunter at heart

Good Luck out there Bill post a few pic's of the big guy you get I'll be chasing a 12 Point buck early Saturday morning with the camera I started out as a hunter fisherman from an early age still have my hunting licence but I prefer now to go with a camera

LOL that one has been fed before most of the ones I see disappear before I can get a pic unless on land laying eggs

They were with in Bow range before I spooked them here's the Doe sniffing a branch a 9 point buck licked earlier in the morning and the Buck was pretty far away and just at sun up so not great

Well my D7100 died so back with the D5100(my starter camera) till I get a D7200 in a couple weeks. I forgot I set my D7100 up different from my D5100 so instead of getting 1/1600 SS I got 1/250 SS anyway here's some uncropped missed shots These would have been good if the shutter speed was there

Went back up yesterday Leaves are really falling off now could be bare after the rain and wind today. I'm starting to really like taking Landscape shots(yikes probably need a new wide angle lens) Mizzy Lake Beaver Pond Common Merganser Probably the most photographed Moose in Algonquin And a few guys might be in a little doo doo they chased the Moose with a Drone and got a lot of folks upset

I was in a bucket truck hooking up temp. power for a construction site just off Dixie road near the end of the runway. I saw a plane do what they are not supposed to do. Take off and land in opposite directions it did a U turn yet the wind didn't change. I told my ground guy something is wrong with that plane. At break time I turned the radio in the truck on and couldn't believe what I heard. Well I think they were stacked up ready to head out and today was the day breezy NW winds Turkey Vulture Red-Tailed Hawk Sharp-Shinned Hawk And American Kestrel's were the bird of the day Also seen but no pic's were Merlin many early morning(14 counted) Broad-winged Hawk (5 counted) Coopers Hawk 4 Counted)

tomorrow I'm watching Hawks and Eagles Migrate through Binoculars and camera real TV I call it

Your lenses might be short I use a 500mm and it is short at times anyway I shoot full manual usually F8 and for static birds shutter speed of 1/800 for BiF (birds in fight) F8 and 1/1600 and up
