Love the way it is,nice to read and learn about everything.I do read them all.lol. The people /members,have helped me from Fishing,to boat ,to vehicle,to anything I need help with.Usually very quick.I still believe it is the best site from what I';ve seen .Thanks to everyone for your continuing help when needed. As mentioned,easy enough to find the fishing threads if that's all you want?.

Thanks guys,it is Simcoe.Friend coming tomorrow,kinda want to get him on some.Been terrible .Think I will look for 30-35',Other years 59' or so was the magic number where I go for larger ones.Just to afraid to go that far out this season.Funny last Sat,had two different guys come to our huts and offer their minnows .We still had over two scoops ourselves lol. Never quite seen it that slow that you could not even have fun with the small ones.

Lol,getting out again on Lake X this Sat. We may try auguring a hole every so often and drop a line down,last weekend was four dinks and that was all in 49' of water. I am confused as other years ,this time of year,60' we were doing well.this year a little iffy going out the extra kilometer. In your experience,this time of year would you try and go deeper for the big ones?,or do you think because of the lack of cold this year ,in close.?. We do use minnows,but not so big this year on average.Having said that not much action with the small either.Thanks for any of your ideas.,

Rick how do you know so much that I would consider a young age?.At your age -7 kids,I was anything but a history buff,and such. Good for you.Love your perspective .

They showed a big patch of open water . No deep water for me ,nerves can't take it lol.

News just saying huts are coming off BB point,open water,could be the end of the season now for that area? With not much real cold temps,plus the sun is getting stronger everyday,not looking good .

If they are,why are mtl,Toronto,Edmonton,Vancouver ,Winnipeg ,not sure about Calgary full all the time?.To me ,that is not the reason?. Thinking not revenue maybe marketing?or something else has to be the reason. tv,Radio?. Sure not a fan issue from what I see.I may be wrong again lol.

Yesterday on the west side,as Brian said 7" one side of my hut 5' away 5.5".,I have a 7'x7' inside space.We actually had drain whirl pools going with the heat on. Forgot to mention 2" of water on the way out,3" around 3pm on the way in.Crazy season for sure. Other then all our boots full of water first thing,great day to be out.Check for sure before you go.

I agree with you 100% Cliff,we can't look after are own.Let's correct that first ,and then maybe go from there. .

Do the 20lb tanks ever get the same issues as the 1lbers freezing up ?,that would be one heck of a hole to dip that in to warm up.

My take as always,not so much getting rid of Dion,maybe. They say 3-4 years,not sure why they want to put us through that for another 3-4 years.Draft choices,draft choices/trade. This is a long haul. You have some cap room ,treat us Leafs fans for a bit of optimism . We need a captain/center,whatever,maybe this will happen in the next two weeks?getting rid of Dion,give us a veteran or someone to build around.As a life long Leaf fan I am not so sure I can wait another 3-4 years for again /maybe a good Leaf team. Just me wondering what these all high priced management are going to do and justify for the next 3-4 years..START NOW,by the dead line .
