Crank baits for sure... Not only do they tend to be the most expensive but, I prefer them over almost everyother bait nearly all the time... -

I too seldom use live bait... The only times being in the winter ice fishing or when I gou out with friends who just want to catch fish the easy way ... besides that I always use artificials, from plastics, to cranks, poppers, whatever...

You are talking Ice only or all fishing chilli...

Esentially it is a waited "rig" that can have several, usually 2 or 3 extending wire "branches" which have hooks on them. Minnows are usually stuck on them and are used for a variety of fishing...
