That is awful... they musky fish without a net and then throw it on the bottom of the boat, and to controll it try to step on the poor thing... if you dont have a net for em and risk dropping it its better to take the hooks out in the water and just let it go, or take a pic while its in the water

as for a leader you can use fluoro... However long you want it... more abrasion resistant and almost invisable in h2o

I would say slot adjustments are the most important... let the best spawners live... and to tell you the truth I think the regs are quite fair at the moment, enforcement of the current regs is the important part... thats my opinion

used to just fry em up whole with some batter and add some lemon after their cooked... eat em bones and all if theyre the little ones... But i guess you could eat the meat off the bones too...
