  15. They were on sale for $9.99, so I picked up 2 of them figuring they may come in handy for my boat...but the box says it will maintain a battery. Does that mean they will not charge up a battery? Would it be better if I hooked them up in parallel or series if I wanted to charge up my batteries - or would doing one or the other cause damage? Anyone have experience with one of these? Thanks! Hey fisher i bought two of them on the weekend as well. Was going to post the exact same question just haven't got round to it yet. I did use one of them on the trolling battery this passed weekend and seem to do the job. That being said i did put the battery on the charger( electric) at night .
  16. I have a 14' square back sportspal . Never had any issues with wind. I have fished with 3 pepole in it many times. Fished from long point to nipp. and everywhere inbetween. i have run a 3hp yammy on it for years. Even rigged up a couple of seats for it. I think the weight is around 75# so very easy to carry with one person
  17. yup heard this one before only it was a newfoundlander. still good for a laugh though.
  18. Woodsman: Oh ya , always seem to spend more at that place then what I planned on when I walked in. :-)

  20. So i have been looking at new fishfinders and would like some input. Not looking to spend a ton of cash, say between $300 AND $5OO. BPS has a humminbird 570 DI ($329)that looks like it might do the job for me. Let me know what ya think.
