Its a personal decision to harvest or not, within a sustainable fish population Im all for harvest to the point of sustainability, outside of that well obviously not. Personally dont harvest off the N shore Im more of a gold sorta guy and prefer to harvest in a clearly put delay and take fishery. I will say though next few years are going to be filled with hot fish due to the recent yrs weather The Credit's fish population of salmonids that come from wild stock vastly out number the stockers these days in all cases other then say the ho's and maybe browns. Checking the charters and mooching from the weigh in stations during the derby are a great sorce for eggs, as many want to eat the fish and could care less about the eggs, besides its skein and it way out performs loose eggs as the weather gets colder

Lake should have those green fish hunkered but the smallies should be turning on soon in the channels

ebay usually has the exact match cut carpet for your boat, marine carpet as you dont want a continual wetted product on your floor

aniceguy replied to chandru's topic in General Discussion
Met my wife 20 yrs ago, we had a wedding to go in January and I told her I needed to be home early as I was fishingin the am, so was ok with it. Got married 16 yrs ago, we were leaving for our honeymoon 2 days after so the following day after the wedding I went and fished the outflow of the nuke in Pickering, she had no issues with it. Had an issue once and I explained I dont drink ( too much ) I dont cheat or womenize, gamble so on and so on, never once has she said a single word....encourages me to fish at every opportunity and one of these days I ll get around to installing the closed circuit camera in the house just to see who in fact owns that mercedes parked in my driveway when I go fishin -

Rules of Wading rivers on Private property?
aniceguy replied to bill smy's topic in General Discussion
there are 8 pieces of property on the Notty including the Pine that I know of where the owner also owns stream bed that are private. 3 you ll never see anyone 1 you ll be politely asked to leave 1 as long as you dont act like a pig and drop a bottle of vodka you ll be ok 1 with a crazy old lady with a shot gun potentially pointed at you and a few others. Bottom line if you r not sure go to the local township title search the deed, or make a friend by knocking the door and ask forr access. Short of that the other option is to make him call the cops charge you, either he wins in court if he owns the land or you win with him getting charged with violating your right to hunt and fish..... -
have all the boats run them to deep water, at least 10 feet minimum and release them there...best bet in that situation
-
no Kraft owns both sides of the river and the dam, they have global security protocols and only via agreement with OMNR is anyone allowed access, the agreements have strict communication protocol and violators will be charged. Kraft has a 0 tolerence for any tresspass to property issues There is no public access to the ladder of kraft property what so ever

Cool this summer? arctic sea ice melt 3rd highest
aniceguy replied to scuro2's topic in General Discussion
interesting thread but its all worthless. Positive or negative on the issue of global warming for or against it. The bottom line is while we can debate its merits short of trying to lower our own personal carbon footprint there is nothing we can do about it
