Probably is but at this time of year manufacturers provide additional incentives to dealers to move current and previous year product. Most dealers won't tell you this as they want to keep it for themselves if they can. 20% discount is not unheard of at this time of year. Try it but be prepared to walk.

I'm of the opinion that anything hooked like that that's in season is destined for the frying pan. I am all for C&R but sometimes the writing is on the wall. You might save the fish by cutting the hooks but as you say you would need a pair of small boltcutters for those hooks.
