  1. Are the Leafs running into hot goal tenders? Or, are they just not very good at turning shots on goal into goals? They seem to have quite a few games where they get a lot of shots on goal; but don't score a lot of goals.
  2. Yeah, but the 16% have stuck with her through everything she has done to the province I don't that charging seniors for licenses is going to change their mind.
  3. Maybe the Liberals will follow through on their earlier plan to make people over 65 buy licenses too.
  4. Yeah, it's pretty shallow. But, it's actually down south for many of the members hear. I guess it's all relative.
  5. I had a visitor up from Maryland this summer. He wanted to take a picture to show is friends how cheap the gas was up here...
  6. From what I understand, he initially turned the offer down. But when he didn't get any better offers from anyone else, he was willing to take the Jays offer. However, not that they Jays have signed Morales and Pearce; they are not willing to go $80 million over four years with EE. He may very well end up having to take less than the Jays initial offer. That's all based on rumors; I haven't seen anything official. The Jays did lose out on Fowler, so that may increase the change of Jose or EE coming back.
  7. Should be pretty easy to remove one hook to make it legal.
  8. Do you tow it behind the snowmobile with the wheels up? Or, are the wheels just raised to get the trailer lower to the ice once you are there?

  10. Wouldn't a ramp be more convenient?
  11. That was signed last summer; not during this free agency season. But that deal is still not looking that good.
  12. I think they are trying to sign Dexter Fowler. Pearce can also play in the outfield; but I doubt that they would use him as an everyday outfielder.
  13. Most people probably spend that for a single day of fishing anyway. Look on the bright side; they cancelled their plans to for those over 65 to pay for a license... for now anyways.
  14. That would probably depend on who else they sign. They have a budget for salary, and they are trying to sign other players; rumor has it that they have made an offer to Dexter Fowler. Depending who else they sign, they may or may not have a need or budget for Saunders. If they have room for him, I am sure that they will make an offer.
  15. What contests? I didn't see any when I ordered mine.
  16. This may signal the end Encarnacion time in Toronto. Jays sign Steve Pearce. He can play 2nd and and outfield in addition to 1st base; so perhaps there is still room for EE; although it does seem less likely now. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/report-blue-jays-add-lefty-masher-steve-pearce-151649279.html
  17. I am not sure if this will be good or bad for the fishery. http://www.durhamregion.com/news-story/6995763-lake-dredging-project-gets-conditional-approval-from-scugog/
  18. No matter how well the goalie plays, the team still needs to score at least once to win.
  19. If you're going to blow, blow big.
  20. Are the charging stations free to use? If you have to pay for the electricity to charge the batteries, then price of fuel isn't going to offset the purchase price of the car; especially if you need to replace the battery.
  21. No they didn't. They just allowed the debt to accumulate.
  22. Seeing the bill won't help. As I explained earlier, rates in the past didn't cover the cost of providing the electricity; I consider that a discount. Now, in addition to paying for the cost of electricity, we have to pay a debt retirement charge to offset the artificially low rates (aka discount) that previous customers received. Since about the time that the McGuinty/Wynne Liberals have been in power.
  23. NHL adds "John Scott Rule" for all star balloting https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl-reveals-all-star-voting-guidelines-post-john-scott-184136753.html
  24. That may have contribute, but artificially low rates were a factor too. Much of the debt would have been paid off if the rates had covered all costs; debt repayment is one of the costs that need to factored into the rates.
  25. They won't go down; but they may stop doubling every 10 years.
