  3. In terms of outboards, they're not making any more of them. I wouldn't expect to see a ban. But in another 20 or 30 years. But in the next few decades, two stroke motor oil may become difficult to find.
  4. Gas vehicles have more fires per capita; not just more overall. And the ratio is about 10 to 1.
  5. Gas vehicles catch fire far more often than electric ones. Although, battery fires are more difficult to extinguish.

  7. Actually, a license is not required to possess fish. I think that there must be more than two limits of fish involved here. Plus, the CO/Game Warden must have suspected something in order for them to inspect the freezer to begin with. I suspect that there is a little more to the story than what we are being told.
  8. But two people each leaving a daily limit of fish would not put them over the possession limit…
  9. These may be able solve stability problems with a smaller kayak. https://scotty.com/product/302-kayak-stabilizer/
  10. I also find that a flash light makes it harder to see at night. Especially if the person shines it down into the hull of the boat.
  11. I replaced mine a couple of years ago. I was able to get a custom axel from Cerka in Milton for less than Princess auto charges for their axels. If you're further east, there is a place on the south end of 35/115 (Easton's?) that has a good reputation.
  12. A 12v motor will draw one amp per pound of thrust. So, one size up from the number of pounds of thrust should be good.
  13. Tiger muskies tend to have rounded fins like a pike. The fins in the first picture look more pointed like a muskie. I agree with those saying it's pure muskie.
  14. It's not has convenient as the old cable drives with a pull rope (Well, until the rope breaks). But I don't find it to be too much of an issue. Perhaps using a rope with a loop on the end will help lift it.
  15. Mine does. Perhaps it depends on the year.
  16. It has to be vertical to turn on. I have an Xi5. When I lift it out of the water, all the lights turn off.
  17. It would have been fun catching that from your pontoon boat.
  18. Maybe, but hatchery fish doesn't mean that it's a triploid.
  19. I think the official world record bow from lake Diefenbacker is a triploid. However, I haven't seen any evidence that this brown is a triploid.
  20. Well that's impressive. https://www.facebook.com/chris.brookins.9461/videos/166029168901030
  21. Viking was an Eaton's brand motor. It was probably made by OMC (Johnson/Evinrude).
  22. Well, if he's still driving the same truck, he's probably due for another one. 😉
  23. I believe that Force are in fact the old Chrysler motors. Chrysler was forced to sell their outboard motor business as part of the early 80s bailout. The new owners called them Force.
  24. From my understanding, in NHL history, the winner of a Habs/Leafs payoff series has always gone on to win the Stanely Cup. We'll see if it holds this year.
  25. Thanks
