Okay, I can't blame you. If I was a Senators fan, I'd probably want to leave the country too.

Is that the plant that was converted from coal to biomass? Do they still have some other stacks there? I looked it up; that was Antikokan that was converted.

Okay, here is what my friend had to say, "Hi John. No the outlets were all 220V. They did accept our regular and grounded plugs. HOWEVER if you are only have adapters for things like phones, tablets or laptops you should check the voltage requirements as all of ours were OK with 110 or 220 V."
-
I don't remember needing an adapter. I think most hotels have 110v North American outlets as well as 220v. I just sent an email to a couple that got back from Cuba on Saturday.

Are Wolves the new Bears? From MNR Watch
John Bacon replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
Yes, two separate species can produce offspring; but their offspring are rarely fertile. E.g. You cannot more mules by breeding the ones you have, you'll need horses & donkeys to make more mules. I was taught that the ability to breed and produce fertile offspring under natural conditions is what defined a species. However, I think that there is some flexibility in this definition. Animals, including fish, rarely cross breed in nature. But it does happen. E.g. tiger muskie, saugeye, cutbow, etc. In some cases the female offspring will be fertile but the males will not. -
If the MNR keeps stocking new fish to replace the ones that people eat, that may help remove some of the contaminants from the bay...

Oops, I guess I should have realized that DAL in his stats didn't stand for Vegas.
-
Possibly, but judging from the stats, Methot hasn't made much a contribution to Vegas's success this year. It doesn't look like it would take much to be an improvement over Methot this year. I guess we will see how L.A. does with him. They are currently one spot out of the playoffs. https://www.nhl.com/player/marc-methot-8470760

I wonder how long it will be before Brian rigs up something similar for his auger
-
Not exactly done. He's still your third highest paid defenseman I wonder if he regrets not waiving his no trade clause last summer; he could be playing for Vegas right now. Oh well, I guess L.A. is better than Ottawa.
-
Some of the comments are hilarious. Re: Mark Norman@MNorman87 Good return on the Dion Phaneuf deal for Ottawa. Gaborik is a real playoff performer. Could get them over the hump this season.
-
So, somebody is claiming that there is a zero percent chance that Ottawa will do poorly two years in a row... I wonder who that was? We will see how that pans out. I can see Ottawa using a late season surge to end up getting the tenth pick overall and then giving up the first overall pick in 2019.
-
You're allowed two lines each. So bring a minimum of two rods/tip ups, etc. I like to have some extra rigs so that I still have two lines in the water while I am tying another rig. You may want to consider an auger to run some tip ups out side the hut; especially if it's a nice day. Some rod holders are good too. I was up at Innisfil earlier this year. We were having good luck with perch on a similar setup to the rig from huzzsaba's video. Sunset was the best time. Small minnows were working best.

But his actions are putting other players' loosing their livelihoods put them at a risk suffering pain for life... I agree that they should be the ones handling with large fines and progressively longer suspensions. But if they don't handle it then I can understand players wanting to take matters into their own hands.
-
My understanding is that you want them to be soft and they tend to get harder with age.

Oshawa pier is closed for the winter. Some fishermen have been fined https://www.durhamregion.com/news-story/8120329-oshawa-fishermen-livid-after-hefty-fines-issued-by-city-for-fishing-off-lakeview-park-pier/#.Wnpxok4YQsZ.facebook

Wasn't it you that was telling us how big of an upgrade Duchene was over Turris when the trade was announced? You may have even mentioned something about making a run for the cup... I guess the Leaf fans were right about it being a bad trade, and about Ottawa's play-off run being a fluke, and about Karlsson not being that great, etc. I got a chuckle out this:

Wow, overtime didn't last long. Way to go Nylander.

I looks like it could cut holes in the ice for you too.

Thanks for your help. I did receive some help from another member who had PM'd me. I thought I was making some progress when someone from the branch called me one evening. Unfortunately, that one phone call is the only communication I have had with them. So I guess I am back to square one. I will try the numbers that you have given me. Maybe I will have some success with them.

It doesn't look like something that would handle deep snow very well.

There were some walleye stocked in the lake around year 2000. It was done by a private individual who raised funds to purchase the walleye. I am not aware of any stocking since then. From what I hear, walleye are still hard to come by.

Aren't you a Senators fan? You certainly have the right handle for one.

But if he is dissing Montreal and Boston then we might have to agree with him. Where's the fun in that? Re: "How a team goes from second overtime loss in the conference finals that would have had them in the cup series to this is beyond me!" It Ottawa's case, it's because it was a complete fluke that they got that far in the first place. Think about, two or three weeks before the end of the season it looked like they were going to miss the playoffs altogether. Two or three days before the end of the season, it looked like they might face the Leafs in the first round. We all know how Leafs/Senators play off series end. They obviously were not the one of the top two teams in the conference last year. This year's play is probably a better reflection of the team's skill level than last year's fluky playoff run. Did they have a choice on Methot? Is there someone else they could have left unprotected instead of Methot? I do recall reading some articles from analysts early in the season. They claimed that Ottawa shouldn't be doing as well they had at the that point. Although, they did mention that Ottawa may surprise us and make the playoffs. They also said that Montreal should be doing better than they were. Maybe they were on to something. Re: "I do support my team, thus me being at the game last night lol" - When did you buy the ticket? Before or after they went to Sweden?

No! This thread would be boring if we didn't have all of Matt's rants to ridicule. What would we post about if he was on our side? Half of the posts on this thread are the banter between Matt and the fans of worthy teams.
