Fishing....

After seeing the photo DanC posted of the Great Grey, which by the way is an amazing photo, got me thinking to post a few of my favorites I have taken over the years. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Come on, I know there are a few other camera buffs out there, lets see your favorites.

The first couple of years when I bought my sled, I did some trail riding. It was and still is a hoot. We would do trips from North Bay to Eaganville, to ShiningTree, to Timmins, to Sudbury and then back to North Bay. Roughly 300 miles a day. It was great, especially if you had the right group of guys. We found 4 people to be the right amount on a trip like this. Other trips included, Spring Brook to Renfrew, Carling Place, Dorset and back. Day trips were alright too but I enjoyed the 4 - 5 day trips more. Oh my machine? It was and still is a 99 Arctic Cat Panther 550 LC. (Sofa on a track).

Not sure where this is all going to end up, but it sure is a nice start! I can't really divulge any information on the situation as of yet. One thing for certain, this photo sure will get the word out to other poachers.

Glad you took the time to post Superdad. I alway senjoy reading your post to see what's the up n up on Quinte. Seems like there was a great turnout from the Quinte board as well. Good on ya's.

Nice read Bucktail. Keep the beard bud, it makes you look younger! LOL I just get over the weather we're having still. If it stays like this, I will be out on Quinte with the boat til mid Feb.

Knock em dead Medic. Lots of us still gots the boats out down our way. Some have mentioned they won't see storage at all this year. ( Niagara River fishing).

Nice read Bill. Tis a sad sad day when you have to put your boat to rest. A moment of silence would be a nice gesture. Some nice shots you got too. Good to see the CO's out an about. Tis nice to see them there 240.00 tickets.

Ah but we got all winter to Icefish. Time is drawing near for the open water stuff. If Simcoe freezes up, I'll just have to hit Quinte instead.

Nice report Redfin. I only got a few more weekends left for the Muskie and hopfully Simcoe will still have open water to see if I can't hook into them tastey morsals. By the looks of it, your fishing buddy is a Juvinille Loon.

Not yet, still lots o fish to be had out there.

Kewl pics Dan, Once fishing stops in my area I will start pursuing the Owls and other wildlife. Then again, the fishing never stops here! Bay of Quinte the past 2 weekends, before that Lake St. Claire. This weekend, (3 day), Lake St. Claire. I may be forced to put the boat away by the end of December this year. I got a great spot for inside storage and he will hold a spot open for me till the end of Dec.
