  1. Happy Birthday Boss!
  2. Hmmmm... Things won't be looking too good for my Jan 4 - 6 trip on Rabbit is it.....
  3. Neither, I'll stick to my X 135 now, will never look back. I had a Vex FL-18. Sold it after trying this setup. No need for "Vex eyes" for me. It's got an alarm if I tend to wander off. The side bar has real time plus if I turn away for a monment, I still have about a 20 second history screen to show. I can zoom in to a specific depth, split screen and most importantly, EASY TO DECIFER!
  4. Welcome to the board Al. I am sure you will enjoy it here. I have admired your web site, alot of useful information on there in relation to Brookie habitat and so forth. Have you had much oportunity to fish in Superior for the Coasters? And you are right, it is a sickness, the only cure is to fish more often.
  5. Thanks DanC, Like I really needed that now! You are gonna make the winter a longggg snap now bud. The kewlest part about that slide show? I can relate to each and every photo. Thanks for that DanC.
  6. Very nice Wil, I can't help but say his sight is outstanding! I can also say he and I must have crossed paths at one point in time. Look at his Birds of Prey photo #51. Now compare that to my photo, his by all means are far superior to mine but look at the post. I think my truck sits higher than his car! LOL The more I look at it, I know exactly who pulled up in fromt of me now!

    My New Ride

Well. that is one nice ride, I'm sure you will get years of use out of it. By the looks of things, it's got a hitch on it too. Now you need to get one of these to haul behind it.
  8. I 'd trust Wayne's experience and suggestions before I would anyone elses on this one. (He's been know to fix a few on this site.) Shhh, don't tell em though, it'll go to his head.
  9. You should make this a poll Babyherc. I would be interested in seeing the results on this one. Myself, I generally go fishing 40- 45 weeks out of the 52. So yes, I do go ice fishing.
  10. Yup, better, much, thanks, I like! The colors are much easier on the eyes too!

  12. You and Ed sure do seem to get out alot! Good on the catch boys. Crappie in the Fall and during the daylight hours no less, gotta like it!
  13. Nice Rick, but there seems to be a little glitch, on the top left hand, the loon is partially coverd by the drop down menu.
  14. Rumor has it there will be one coming to the Toronto = Oshawa area too!
  15. Oh when Cupcake reads this thread, we are not gonna be popular guys! How long before he clicks on this thread, any bets?
  16. kewl...
  17. Hey congrates to you and the missus for becoming so to be new parents the 2nd time around.. AS for taking the parental leave, I passed the idea along on my wife once. Lets just say I had to replace a couple of fishing rods.
  18. I would definately agree with Eddyk's comments as well, first hand.
  19. You never cease to amaze me with your talents Pam. How is the on line auction going?
  20. An investigation is under way. I hope they convict the guys.
  21. Where the cotter pin is located, I drilled an over sized hole to accomodate a pad lock. Installed pad lock and threw away the key. Cost me 6 bucks for the pad lock.
  22. Same here Eh, I was hoping to get out yesterday and with any luck today as well. Well, I got back a "little" late from the Hamilton MCI meeting (2:30 AM). But, I had also a painter lined up for a job on Thurs AM. Wednesday, I got called away from the drywall job to snake a clogged line. So... after the MCI meeting, I go and finish the drywall (4 AM). By now, I am burnt out, Thursday is a bust for fishing. On my way home from Hamilton, I get a whining noise from the rear end of the truck. Today was spent getting new pinion bearings in the rear axle of the truck! I would have much rather the bearings on the boat trailer go! LOL Well, boat is going in storage Sat, muskie gear will be put away tonight. On the up side, I had a great season, got to fish a lot of new water, some of it will see me again next year, some of it won't.
  23. Well, I got off to a slow start. I saved the song on the computer and next thing you know, it is lost in the files of nowhere land. I was digging up some info for another project, Low and behold, I find it! A great song Roger! I could enjoy listening to you guys playing anywhere! Especially around a camp fire. Thanks for making it availible for us. Man, that smile is addictive!
  24. That is great news to read GCD!
