So today I'm sitting in my Lazy Boy watching InfoWars, when my Canadian made IPhone rings. "Let's go fishing on the infamous Rainy River"! Shouts my emphatic friend. "Um sure, I spose. But let me check my Navionics Super Barium for spots first" I reply. "Thats it! I found the most elusive shore spot EVER"!!!!! Minutes later we'er loading up the 16" Lund, loaded with our brand spanking new 300 horsepower Mercury tiller!!! Upon arrival, i have an idea. We, as anglers so often talk about fishing breaks, points etc. well what is the most prolific break for fish? The surface! Thats it, gameplay in motion. Ice out walleye on LiveTarget topwaters! So i tie on a VMC UV shortshank jig to my 10lb PowerPro, coupled with a Okuma 30a reel and 6'4" Shimano Clarus rod. Moments later we arrive at our super elusive shore spot. First cast a 5lb walleye hammers my jig! "Game ON!!!. Next cast, 8lb keeper for the grill! This is AMAZING!!! things slowed down after that just enough for us to cook some JOHNSONVILLE brats. "Why do you love JOHNSONVILLE brats so much John"? "Mmmmm, meat" he so elocuantly replies. Back to fishing. BAM! "Get the Frabill! Get the FRABILL" next up come this gorgeous pickereye around 12lbs. We never woulda landed that fish without our Mustang float suits Next fish comes on a Northland Tackle Buckshot jig, " man those fish love these BUCKSHOTS! we decided one more fish before we left. I feel a hit, and fish on! "Man that was a mush bite, he just sucked it. Let's call this fish Sidney Kadri". trip over, praise The Lord and saviour!!!! your dr tells you what he is giving you. And it comes with a list of interactions and directions etc. that info also goes straight from the dr to the pharmasist via computer. So look at your prescription when you pick it up, ensure its correct. This coulda been a horrible situation. I hope ya get it all straightened out and your wife is safe big cliff

brutal. I was volunteering for our suboxone treatment clinic(medication to stop opiate abuse). I was dispensing on a saturday, which meant i had to go to the pharmacy to get all the patients meds. I get back to the office and check to ensure there the right amounts and doses for each client. Hmmm, extra bottle??? What is it? 200 OxyContin. I returned them but i found that to be quite a massive mistake

Well i only seen one more fish, she was a hearty beast but no take:) mid 40's id say. Was cool to see some youngens land a real nice sturgeon. They were stoked:). See. A few big ones jumping too, even they were enjoying the weather! I work nights this week so I'll be out there again all week man I'm sore though lol. Earl bedtime tonight from all that fresh air:)

Surprised nobody said fish oil soft gels??? Cheap, and work great on spoons, but deadly in a tube. 180 softgels cost about 10 bucks at Walmart. Help those fish get their EPA/DHA hahaha

i hear ya man. I sat outside yesterday and watched the river for hours, just hoping to get out there. Its one of those times where you wanna throw every lure just because haha. I'm watchin a few American boats walleye fish right now. One guys is smart, he anchored his boat on the ice so he doesn't have to fight the current lol. 5 boats down there now. I thought there would be more

Well after an unsuccessful attempt at launching the boat yesterday, i had it in my mind i was fishing today no matter what lol. Woke up at 4am and trekked to look at launches, still another day or two away. Launch on the American side is good though. So i decided to find a shore fishing spot. First spot was good to go, a shallow river bay. The walk down was good until the sun started heating up lol then i was in 2 feet of snow haha. Nice sunny conditions, about plus 5, maybe 10km winds from the east. Water is crystal clear. StRted to set up and d'oh, brought the wrong tackle box lol. Still some decent lures to try. I started out by casting raps and got two nice big birds nests right away! Awesome! After I came to my senses i could see a few pike chasing or turning but not hitting my super slow presentation. Tried to speed up and the wouldnt even look. Then i switched to a Johnson silver minnow and started getting good hits! Sooo good of a feeling:) got 5 good bites and landed all those, ranging from 30-35". Then before heading home for a quick snack, i see a bigger fish:) i cast to her a few times and finally get her to bite! After a good fish i get her to shore and just as i grab her out pops the hook. Nothing huge but a nice thick fish, pushing 40". Awesome morning. I'm heading back down in an hour, with the right gear plus the silver minnow lol. I'm hoping my kiddos will come so we can snap a few pics this time:) pretty tough to get selfies with pike haha. I'm just excited, so fun to be out casting again!!!

I watched facts if fishing today and i learned one thing, its hard to catch fish with your lure stuck to your forehead, hahaha. Only shows i really like are the next bite and uncut angling

I'm going for ice out pike today, so at 4am i woke up to watch a few vids to get the juices flowing. Ended up watching uncut angling bloopers and i woke up half the house i was laughing so hard! I love that show

A little off topic but to those with loved ones doing these duties, how does it effect your partner, you, your family???i have to imagine it strains families, and mentally that must be soooo tough to deal with traumas all day. Like does it effect their mentality, similar to say... War veterans?

Excited for the game!!!! KF i still wish they're eliminate the divisions/conferences for playoffs. Go solely on a point system. That way all the best teams are in, and it would create new rivalries. I'd love to see match ups like Chicago vs LA in the first round, that would be awesome! To me it sucks when a team in the east with 82 points makes it, and a team from the west with 9o points is off golfing. (Numbers exaggerated but you get the point)
