  1. Ill never waste meat. Its against my moral compass. To me that triumphs man made laws. Im just being honest. I would document it and fight it court. But you know what? Its a slim chance it would ever come to that. I know all the local co's and they often come to me for information since im on the water so much. I trust them and they trust me. If I had to keep a fish that was dead or dying, ill call the mnr on myself. Let them decide. Thats my moral compass. Dont waste meat, but never EVER abuse the resource. Maybe you will agree, maybe not? But this is me and if I break the law I will be punished and I will accept that punishment. Throwing a dead or dying fish back in the water not only goes against my beliefs, but its very disrespectful to nature.
  2. Rainy lake, rainy river and mainville for me. White spinner baits searching, then texas rigged berkley crawfish in black and red flake. Zero doubt we will smash them And ill toss some top waters too, mainly a black zara spook but also a rapala popper in the frog pattern
  3. Ill stick to weed, no sativas for me though. Try being addicted to benzos. What a hell ride. Its been months and I still suffer. And when I suffer my family suffers. When I smoke weed im relieved and functional. I feel good but not stoned. Just functional and without panic attacks/anxiety. Im a new smoker, 35 now and i just started a few months back. I dont smoke to get high. A gram lasts me about a week. I juat one hit a tiny piece once or twice a day when I feel overwhelming panic. I have PTSD so its a real struggle but things are getting beťter and marijuana helps. No real side effects ive seen unless I use sativas I get high and anxiety worsens. Indicas help dramatically. Personally, id rather smoke weed then use benzos, alcohol and or antidepressive drugs for my situation(all of which help initially then make things dramatically worse after)
  4. Thats good too! Its a very subtle flavour that makes good moist pork
  5. Its more of a sauce but works wicked on pork. Cook it low, say like 350 for about 15 or 20 mins, then broil for 2-4 mins. Tent after cooking to keep it moist. Nothing worse then overcooked pork(well I guess undercooked pork lol) You can add cola or whiskey too, but its not necessary. Season however you see fit. For pork steaks i prefer just cracked black pepper
  6. One cup ketchup, one cup vinegar, one cup brown sugar. Mix, marinate, thank me later?
  7. What does a "welfare state" have to do with natives? Your eyes are not open, there rose coloured. Tight lines? All my buds from OFC can reach me on facebook, bassmcbassturd. Miigwich and have a great summer!!!
  8. Is that the face you made after you were abducted from your family to attend residential school??? My mom was raped and beaten her whole childhood. No one went to jail. Open your fricken eyes Eugenics was apart of canadian history, ONE generation ago
  9. And poachers are poachers. Call them POACHERS. Leave the race out of it for crying out loud
  10. Probably because most live in poverty. Probably because they have far bigger societal issues to deal with. Probably because a good amount have been subject to rascism and abuse their whole lives. I can name a bunch more too. And we stock sturgeon, what are you doing to help fish populations, just out of curiousity?
  11. Ughh thats gotta suck. On the ocean a charter should get some sort of tag for donating fish like you mentioned. Even an undersized tuna would feed alot of people in need
  12. Can we quit referring to poachers as "aboriginal" "NFN" "native" or "indians"? These are poachers and low lifes, just like every other race or creed has. Miigwich
  13. You mean one more restless night before opener? Thats how I get, fish on the brain I spose. Barely get any sleep before openers
  14. Geez. So sad. Rip to him and condolences to the family. Water is dangerous, please take all necessary precautions people.
  15. When I shore fish i always bring two garbage bags with. Around here we hardly fill them but sometimes we do. Mostly beer bottles. Clean your mess up people
  16. We had warnings yesterday but naddas. Stay safe people, take the safe route when in doubt
  17. Yes! Just remember shoreline is structure, and so is the top water column. Sand is considered structure for me too, for walleyes. Up here they push right up on beaches, mainly at night but beforespawn and in the fall many walleye to be found in 3fow of less
  18. Yeah but if the day wver comes that I cant successfully revive an illegal catch, ill be thinking about it long and hard. I have kept fish but they were all legal so it wasnt a tough decision. Guys pulling walleye outta 40fow and them all dying thats just stupid, id be tempted to slap someone doing that. I mean sure get your limit but move on.
  19. Seems aweful wasteful. Im not gonna lie, ive kept fish that i couldnt revive or were deep hooked. But now i think about it, i can see people abusing that very easily. Catch a fish cut the gills and keep it kinda thing. In my beliefs you dont waste animals. Im honest about my catch and if deep hooked or cant revive i will keep the fish, and take pics, and fight it in court. Just my .02
  20. Wow! Awesome trip. Im hungry now too
  21. Never read the regs in my life. Doesnt fit in my 5 gallon pail on the way out
  22. 160 acres??? You better get to work man.
  23. Actually im gonna backtrack on that. I just looked up the pics from the guy in kenora fishing tourny that got bit. Youd think it would look worse but maybe not. Geez youd think one headshake and your foot would be gnarly???
  24. Whoa i didnt know that! I have kept deep hooked fish that were too big in the past because I thought that trumped the slot rule. Good to know, but silly nonetheless
  25. Surprisingly accurate lol
