Just got back from a couple hours on cooks bay for pike, managed a solid 30 incher and a very nice 35 incher that fought harder then the 41 I caught a couple weeks back. I've been reading all these posts about people being 's on the water, I had one this evening as well, had the whole lake and he chose too speed past me at about 25 feet. Damn good thing I wasn't in a 12 foot tinny.

Also, I heard last week that the biggest oil company in Canada out west, had over a BILLION dollar profit in the first quarter of this year... up 33% from last year.

I can't believe the reasons they come up with to raise the freaking gas prices... someone in the states sneezes and it might affect the oil supply, it's ridiculous... I am spending about 250-300 a month more in gas then I did at this time last year... How can the crude oil drop 10 dollars a barrel last week and gas prices go down 3 cents, and then yesterday crude oil goes up 5 dollars and then gas shoots up 6.5 cents, some messed up math if you ask me. It boggles the mind how they can get away with this.
