  5. nice report and 'eye action there! and yup, no brainer to go back!!!!
  6. i take trade-in vehicles all the time, generally speaking the ones that have krown, or any oil undercoating that doesn't get hard are in much better shape than the ones that aren't undercoated. I haven't seen how the electronic devises work though.
  7. i've been scouting and have put up a few treestands, sorry no trail cam pics. The action so far looks pretty good, lots of tracks in the field/bush where i usually bowhunt. Looking forward to pics of everybodys bucks!!! KS
  8. i would say either a jake or a believer, either 8 or 10 inch, perch pattern. Ive caught both of my biggest muskies on these, both while trolling, but they also work great casting as well.
  9. i use both the curado and the quantum energy pt. Both bought at angling outfitters in woodstock. I know if i ever have ANY issue's the guys there would be more than happy to take care of them for me.
  10. ha haaaaa i'm in the same boat....I quit smoking June 1st, the deal with my wife was that if I quit for 3 months i could buy a new quad....this forum popped up a few days ago and so far yamaha, honda, brp, polaris, kawasaki, and suzuki are the best choices
  11. This hull cleaner was the answer to my fiberglass boat, nothing else worked except for it. Spray on, hose off, just make sure you do it outside as it is acid based and will get you high as a kite if inhaled. Spray nine works good for upkeep afterwards.
  12. Sorry for the confusion, it doesn't look like you need 72 hours for a trailer as per RIV. My broker must be incorrect on that LOL U.S. Customs entry requirements U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) require notification of all self-propelled vehicles being permanently exported from the United States. You must provide CBP with your vehicle title documents, registration and sales receipts. CBP regulations state that at land border points: required documentation must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to export; and the vehicle must be presented to U.S. Customs at the time of export. CBP recommends that you contact the customs office where you plan to cross, directly, to verify the documentation required and their hours of operation. Select a state or province, then choose the border crossing through which you will be importing your vehicle, to view contact information for the U.S. Customs office.
  13. As a car dealer, i've imported hundreds of vehicles over the past six years, including four boats. I have always used a broker, but i understand an individual you don't need one. However, You DO need a trailer title faxed to canada customs 72 hours before you cross the border. You must have a boat registration as well, but you don't need to fax that. Make sure the customs official doesn't fill in the RIV form with the boat information, just the trailer vin etc. I've had that happen and had to take the boat to an airport that had customs officers there to make me a new form. Once in canada you pay the RIV form online, get your paperwork, and go to crappy tire to get the stamp, go to license office for ontario title and plates etc. The boat paperwork i go to a service canada office to apply for a pleasure craft title, where they will give your new boat a number (the one you put on the front of your boat.) Thats pretty much it! Sorry if it sounds confusing, but if you don't have all your ducks in a row customs can really make you have a bad day. Have fun in the new Boat!!!
  14. i also wonder if they mean 3 feet lower than last year or three feet lower than long term levels. Here's an interesting website i usually look at before i go up as water levels going up/down can really affect the bite. http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/ontario/eaux-water/renseignement-information-eng.html
  15. i heard it was down half a metre. Hopefully its not down 7 feet! I'm heading up to moonlight bay on the north channel on sat
  16. hahahaha Art, don't forget the saab's
  17. pink hands down
  18. yikes, i paid less than that for my first boat! Awsome picture btw
  19. that first picture is stunning!! i bet there's some smallies sunning themselves around those rocks too!
  20. I wondered if it would be the same Rich, as there appears to be a limited publishing of maps on the French. How do you like it? Do you find it helpfull? Please tell me you didn't pay $3.99 for it at the trading post
  21. I have been trying to find a decent map of the french as well. This is what I have found and ordered. http://www.fedpubs.com/mpchrt/maps/french_river.htm I'll post back on here when i recieve it in the mail!!
  22. i attend car auctions and wade through waves and waves of crap all day everyday to find that perfect car/truck for my dealership, sry its not always this bad, been a long day wading through crap
  23. a buddy of mine came back from west arm on saturday, he was there for a week. He said the bass and pike were ok, walleye were nonexistent. good luck!!
  24. i go to a private cottage right next to sand beach lodge twice a year, end of august, and begining of october. During the summer months i have had excellent success slow rolling spinners through weeds in anywhere from 3ft (yes three feet!!!!) to 12 fow. Face the dock at sand beach then look to your left, there is a little bay with two cottages, troll around that bay early morning till noon, you should pick up a few eye's. There is lots of pike and smallies in there as well. If your not picking up any walleyes, go smaller spinners, and go even slower, just fast enough to spin the blade. Hope this helps!!
